Elevator encoder

Function:

The elevator encoder is mainly an incremental encoder. It is used together with a frequency converter or other speed control equipment to provide speed and position information for the speed control system or the control system.

Basic principle:  

The elevator encoder only has 3 code tracks on one code disc, which are A, B and Z from the inside to the outside. when the encoder rotation, each code track will have a series of pulses output from the photosensitive element.
